The session programme for the 2025 edition of the forum.

The programme opened with a Quran recitation and the Somali National Anthem, followed by welcoming remarks and a short documentary on Somalia's internet journey. Day one focused on institutional trust and rights; day two turned to identity, emerging technologies and global engagement.

Ahead of the forum, the Somali Internet Governance Taskforce and SIMAD University ran the Somali School of Internet Governance (SSIG) as a pre-forum capacity-building programme, equipping participants to engage substantively in the sessions that followed.
