The Somalia Internet Governance Forum (SIGF) is a national, multi-stakeholder platform that brings together government, industry, civil society, academia, and the public to discuss and shape the future of the Internet in Somalia.
Organized by the National Communications Authority (NCA) in collaboration with key stakeholders, SIGF promotes open and inclusive dialogue to address opportunities and challenges in the digital space. The forum’s discussions focus on creating a secure, inclusive, and sustainable digital environment that supports economic growth, innovation, and social development.
Each year, SIGF delivers actionable recommendations to policymakers, fosters collaboration among stakeholders, and builds national capacity in internet governance to align Somalia with global best practices.
